In 2024, ISSI-BJ confirmed selection of four International Teams, enabling scientists to work together and carry on their joint research. Team leaders and their members come from different countries and institutes. This will help ISSI-BJ broaden its own perspectives. The main purpose of International Teams is to carry out a research project that will result in publications in peer-reviewd international scientific journals.
The four International Teams selected are the following:

| Chen Jie (CN) & Robertus Erdelyi (UK) | Small-scale Eruptions on the Sun |
| Vanina Lanabere (SW) | Understanding Ground Magnetic Disturbances Due to Field-aligned Currents Driven by Magnetotail Activity |
| Jia Jia (CN) & Yvan Orsolini (NO) | Dynamical Signatures of Energetic Particle Precipitation in Atmospheric Re-analyses |
