A Message from Prof. Wing-Huen Ip, ISSI-BJ Executive Director
It is my great pleasure to announce the appointment of four outstanding researchers as Discipline Scientists of ISSI-BJ.
They are Professor Jie JIANG (Beijing University of Aeronautics and Aerospace) for the Sun and heliospheric physics, Professor Takehiko SATOH (JAXA) for planetary science, Professor Jiancheng SHI (NSSC) for Earth observations, and Professor Maurizio FALANGA (University of Bern and ISSI) for astronomy.
Their participation will strengthen greatly the scientific program of ISSI-BJ and promote international cooperation to a new height. I look forward to working closely with them in the coming months and years to come.
